Henna Love

Inermis Lawsonia. The scientific botanical name for henna. For those of you who may not know, henna is a plant that grows ideally in saharan desert regions. The leaves of the plant are ground finely to create a powder. These leaves contain LAWSONE, which is the natural occuring agent that creates the stain. Fancy dancy ingredients are not needed to create beautiful, safe, natural henna paste. Sugar, Water, a "terp" essential oil {I'll dicuss in another blog post}, and henna powder are all that I utilise to hand mix my own paste for rich, safe henna stains. The only question remains... what do you want and where do you want it? :)
